Damn, I remeber I wanted to skate and look like Dressen so bad when I was a kid. Loved his style on and off the board. Khaki shorts were all I wanted. What a great skater this was , and still is by the way.
I was fortunate enough to be invited to the 12th Transworld awards 2 nights ago and it was a serious blast. Got to see the whole skate scene jammed in one place and everyone getting their share of brews during the night. Besides the awards being handed out to some of the best guys out there, the highlight for me was to see Matt Hensley up there on stage being handed the legend award and hear some great stories from back in the day told by Danny Way himself. I felt like a kid again and it was great! Seeing the Hallelujah video was also mindblowing. Seriously some of the best skateboarding I have seen so far. Free beers, great night, great video !
Glory sales & service is always a good place to visit while in LA. If you haven't been there, it is definitely a must go. They have a great mix of cool products from classic british clothing brands to amazing vintage leather jackets (a little pricy though). And to make things even better, they got some signed Duane Peters boards on display. Anyway, during my quarterly visit to the store I stumbled upon this chopper. It is common knowledge that the Dice guys have great taste and this bike is living proof. Absolutely everything about it is right in my books!
Got this from through Kingman through Adrian Lopez!
Lance Mountain himself !
Well, that's it ! I have been through all the pictures taken that day and as you can see, there were more than enough outstanding bikes. I'll be back next year for sure. Thanks for putting on such a cool event.
