Digging through my tapes, I came across this one mixtape. It was made and given to me by my friend Bryce Kanights in 97. I met Bryce through snowboarding and I was so impressed the first time I talked to him. C'mon the guy is the original Sick boy ! I was lucky enough to skate the streets of San Francisco with him and shoot some photos too. Good times ! Anyway, it made me realize how much I love tapes and how the best music I have is on them. I'll be posting mixtapes with some of the best punk rock about every week from now.
Found this cool bicycle tail light. Think I might end up using it on the new bike at one point. The bike was from my grandma and sitting at my mom's house. Still got the 1954 license plate. I guess back then bicycles needed plates...
Some WW2 stuff I found in the garage. My dad lived by the Belgian coast during WW2, and I remember he told as kid all he did was play in bunkers, pick up gun powder and burn it! No political agenda for me behind the German hat and halmet, just think it's cool to have.
When I was a kid, my mom gave me these pants which belonged to my dad. Since he passed away when I was about 13, I started wearing them regularly 'cause they felt great all worn in as they were. I guess they must be from the early or mid sixties 'cause my mom told me he owned them before their marriage which was in 69. It's most probably a 501 but it's hard to tell from the label. Today I still wear them, and they still do the job. Nothing lasts like a good pair of Denim pants !
I finally found the bike I was looking for ! Got this baby on Ebay and am shipping it over next week. It's gonna take a good 2 months to get here and that's probably gonna drive me crazy. It's a TR5 from 1955 and probably loud as hell. Some of the features it has are : Rare alloy head & cylinder. Wassel style peanut gas tank. A vintage white seat and grips. 18" wheel fron and rear. Metzeler tyres.
